Getting married in Key West is so easy. The courthouse is located just a few short blocks from the cruise ship docks. If you choose, it is possible to walk from the docks to the courthouse. Once you arrive at the courthouse, it takes 20-25 minutes to have your license in hand. Remember, the entire island is only 2 miles by 4 miles. So, you are never more then 4 miles from anything!
Couples are able to obtain their marriage license, have a lovely wedding and still have time to explore the island! A charming historic district, tropical flowers blooming throughout the year, a beautiful blue ocean, white beaches and, of course, warm weather are just some of the reasons we call our little island PARADISE.

"A Piece of History" Garden Wedding...
Looking for something unique? Key West has many many historic locations or lovely gardens which are perfect for weddings. Our favorite choice for our cruise ship weddings is the Heritage House Museum and Gardens. It is conveniently located within walking distance of the cruise ship docks and the heart of the historic district. They also provide a dressing room for the bride. The reasonable site fee begin at $250.00.
