Nikki and CJ Celebrate Their Key West Wedding

Saturday, April 27th, 2013

I love performing wedding ceremonies.  Gazing into happy, sometimes nervous faces.  There may be laughter and some tears.  Perhaps a little trembling.  The best moment is when I pronounce them “husband and wife”. The tension melts away. There’s a sigh of relief.  A look of joy. Then the kiss.  And maybe, like CJ, the groom will lift up his bride.  Yippee!

A Blue Wedding Key West

Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013

Darryea and Rick arrived in Key West on a Carnival Cruise.  Their simple wedding took place in the shade of a palm tree at Smather’s beach.  The groom’s shirt was blue.  The bride’s bouquet included light blue hydrangea and dark blue delphinium.  They used blue sand along with sand from the beach for their Sand Ceremony.  Gary captured this great ceremony photo of their sandals in the sand…with plenty of blue sky and blue water!

Key West Beach Wedding – Groom’s Attire

Thursday, April 11th, 2013

We pay a lot of attention to the bride’s wedding dress. What about the groom?  Many guys are reluctant to wear color but I think it looks great.  Especially for a beach wedding.  Sure, you can play it safe with khaki pants and a white shirt but why not add a little color?  Tony wore a pistachio linen shirt which was almost a perfect match to the green orchids in Christy’s bouquet.  It also added a splash of color to their wedding photos.
