Ivo and Mary-Ann, along with their 3 young sons, celebrated 15 years of marriage with a vow renewal ceremony on the beach. Vow renewals are a perfect opportunity for family photos. Also, I like to include the children in the ceremony. Ivo and Mary-Ann read the Sand Ceremony on my website and asked if I could incorporate it in their vow renewal. I modified the wording to make it more appropriate for their family celebration. During the ceremony, the family filled a glass box with sand from the beach. They later added shells and a shark tooth from their Florida vacation. “Just as these grains of sand are joined together, your hearts are forever joined as a family, never to be separated.”
